What We’re About
We believe that any ministry at Martinsburg Church of God must be grounded in the same three fundamental operating principles which are in line with the simple vision of this Body of Christ.
First, any gathering of this body must LOVE GOD and serve to help one another in our individual relationships with God through Jesus.
Second, any gathering of this body must LOVE EACH OTHER – and promote the healthy interpersonal relationships the foundation of which is the bond of the Holy Spirit.
Lastly, if we have committed ourselves to loving the Lord and to loving each other – we turn our focus outward as we are also commanded and demonstrate our love for the world by the service to which we have committed.
In Your Life
OUR CHURCH IS LITERALLY YOUR CHURCH! WE ARE AT YOUR SERVICE!
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and love your neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27 (NIV)
These are the words by which we try to live with one another. The church is open and alive and waiting for you!
In The Community
Come as you are and experience worship in a warm, open, friendly, family-oriented environment. The doors are open to ALL – “church of God” or not. If you are thinking about attending Martinsburg Church of God in particular, or getting back to church in general, you are warmly invited to come and experience worship with us.

What is Happening at MCOG?
All that we do at Martinsburg Church of God has Matthew 28:19-20 at its heart, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Our Mission Statement, our prayer is, Lord...May we grow closer to you...so we may grow closer to others...so others can see you better. Amen.
'Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Let everything that has breath praise the LORD'!
Psalm 150:1
